All Butcher’s products are 100% complete and nutritionally balanced with all the essential nutrients your dog needs.

My dog has a gluten intolerance can I feed Butcher’s Gourmet foil trays?

Yes. The majority of our recipes are ideal for dogs that have gluten intolerance. It’s not unusual; in fact over 20% of dogs are sensitive to gluten. Feeding Butcher’s wet food recipes will help you to manage your dog’s intolerance.

Do Butcher’s add any artificial additives to their products?

No. Butcher’s Pet Care is committed to producing 100% natural products so none of our recipes contain any artificial colourings, or flavourings.

Does Butcher’s Gourmet contain cereal or soya?

No. We don’t bulk out our dog food with cereal and soya as they can cause allergy problems in some dogs. This also means more room for the delicious meat, which is what dogs really love.

Is Butcher’s Choice suitable for puppies?

We have a team of leading nutritionists to develop the Butcher’s Choice Puppy range. It has added extras which we know are important for the daily needs like calcium, added fats and omega fatty acids for healthy teeth and bones, a shiny coat and great skin. Butcher’s Choice Puppy is perfect for little puppies that will grow up to be little dogs.

Should I feed mixer with Butcher’s Gourmet?

Butcher’s Gourmet recipes are complete foods, they contain all the essential vitamins and minerals your small dog needs to keep him happy and healthy so you don’t need to add anything extra.

If you do want to feed your small dog dry complete as well as reduce the wet food so that your dog isn’t overfed. Replace 1 foil tray with a small cupful (60ml or 30g) of good quality complete dry food.

Is Butcher’s Gourmet suitable for senior dogs?

We’ve developed the Butcher’s Choice Senior recipes with your older dog in mind. With added chicory to help with digestions in our dog’s senior years and added sunflower oil to keep his skin healthy and coat shiny. Your best friend will look as handsome as ever – even with a sprinkling of grey.

Should dogs eat vegetables?

As with your diet, vegetables contain vitamins and minerals that will help keep your dog healthy so the Butcher’s Gourmet range offers a variety of recipes made with both fresh meat and vegetables.

However, we do understand that some dogs, just like people, don’t like vegetables so we’ve developed the Butcher’s Gourmet Meaty Recipe Collection made with fresh meat and without vegetables.
